Cw 8891 Fallen trees Forge valley woods
Description
Cw 8891 Fallen trees Forge valley woods.
Forge Valley Woods are an area of public woodlands to the north of Ayton near Scarbrough on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park around the valley of the River Derwent.
Here near the Old man’s Car Park just off the Seavegate road there are walks along a board walk along the river there are a number of trees that have fallen across and into the river.
Some have been lying for a while, in some cases stretching from one side of the banks of the river to the other, or as here with the tops of the tree branches in the water collecting floating debris.
A slow shutter speed on the camera creates a milky flow down the river.
